If you’ve been to Florencia Bay in the Pacific Rim National Park for a day of surfing, then you know the feeling depicted in this painting. It’s a bit of a hike down with all your gear to the beach so usually we set up for the whole day. The cliff protects from the summer winds and catches those south-east swells just right. This painting is a reminder of all the sweet summer moments we get to experience out here on the coast.
